Home Who am I?

Who am I?...

Following initial post secondary education I have over 26 years of Occupational Health and Safety experience in a variety of industries. Knowledgeable of North American Health and Safety legislative requirements in a number of Provinces and States. Since emigrating to Canada I have obtained Canadian Health and Safety professional designations and maintain memberships in the certifying bodies.

Major achievements in Canada include:

  • Multi-term Director on the Board of the BC Safety Authority.
  • Obtaining plant certifications to the OHSAS 18001, the International Safety Standard.
  • Using the benefits of taking part in NAOSH (North American Occupational Safety and Health) week to showcase safety in a positive light. Most recently winning the CSSE National Best Overall award for the third year running.
  • Reduction in Workers’ Compensation and time lost costs by accident prevention and managing claims.

When the opportunity arose, and with the encouragement and support of associates and colleagues, I have established Safety 4 Workplaces, a Safety Consulting service based in Kamloops, BC to enable workplaces in North America to take advantage of my passion for, and knowledge of, workplace safety.
